About the event
If you have a heart for global mission, come and hear how God is working in Italy, Eurasia and Nepal through CMS missionaries. This is a family friendly event with a creche and a children and youth program.

Speakers Peter Rodgers is the former International Director of CMS Australia. He served with his wife Marcelle and their 3 children as a CMS missionary in Indonesia between 1991 and 2002, where he lectured at a theological college. On returning to Australia, Peter became the Rector of St Stephen’s Newtown in Sydney’s Inner West and served there until he took up the role of International Director at CMS in 2011. This year Peter returned to a part-time role on the ministry team at St Stephen’s Newtown.Peter will be focusing on the book of Habakkuk in his series ‘From Fear to Faith’. Where he will be exploring how Habakkuk went from being angry with God to being filled with faith and joy in the midst of evil.
Missionaries
R Serving in Eurasia After reconnecting with supporters on Home Assignment, R will be heading to a new location. In her new location, she will be learning language and the culture of the local people and settling into a small house church.

Serving in ItalySimon and Jess are staff workers with the Gruppi Biblici Universitari (GBU), a university Christian group, responsible for the Puglia region. They train, mentor, and disciple students to share Jesus with their peers. They are also involved in the leadership and ministry of their local church.
